Tokyo Shares End 1.43 Percent Higher On Cheaper Yen

Tokyo stocks closed 1.43% higher on Monday, buoyed up by gains on Wall Street and a Weak Yen.

The markets opened on strong toehold, following Friday’s rebounding on Wall Street, encouraged by positive comments from Washington after the latest round of trade negotiations in Beijing.

The US dollar stood at 111.13 Yen, going up from 110.83 yen in New York late Friday.

Shares related to Chinese demand also enjoyed improvements.
