Asian Trade Tensions Mixed as Global Trade Tensions Heat Up

Asian markets were mostly down for the last few hours as investors attempted to shake off jitters about trade tensions between the China and United States.

Japan’s Nikkei 225 declined 178.68 dollars while the Topix index fell 16.56 points. Chinese mainland markets erased early gain to close down. The Shanghai Composite fell 29.99 points, while the Shenzhen composite lost 10.08 points.
