Nissan Appoints China Boss as Chief Executive
Nissan has promoted the head of its Chinese division to the company chief executive. The company seeks to end a boardroom rift that has threatened the carmaker’s survival.
Uchida’s appointment by the board directors of Nissan follows the sudden resignation of Hiroto Saikawa, the previous Chief Executive Officer.
The new boss will be supported by Ashwani Gupta, as COO and Jun Seki as vice-COO.
