Nissan considering Leaf electric car for India

According to a media report, Nissan is considering to introduce first electric car in India.

Company is considering working with some private companies and government agencies to study if there is viable market for electric vehicles in the country. Nissan Leaf is expected to be the part of the pilot project.

Leaf Model has been highly successful for Nissan especially in Japanese and American Market. This car can be charged at home. In western countries, it can be powered by electric outlets on the road.
