The company said hybrid SUVs remain one of its fastest-growing segments, especially among buyers seeking fuel efficiency without full EV dependency.

Production adjustments will be made across plants in Japan, the U.S., and Canada to ensure supply stability. Toyota executives noted that hybrid demand continues to outperform expectations, reinforcing the company’s strategy of gradual electrification rather than an immediate full-EV transition.
