Toyota to Showcase Advanced Autonomous EVs at 2020 Tokyo Olympics

Japanese automaker Toyota will introduce its e-Palette autonomous electric vehicles for the transpiration of athletes at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics. Toyota will showcase its latest self-driving and zero-emission technology at the sports event.

Toyota is a top Olympics sponsor.

Japan’s largest automaker is revving up the development of green and safer vehicles; it will provide a fleet of over 3000 passenger vehicles for official use in the Olympics. The fleet also includes the Mirai, the world’s first mass-produced fuel cell car, and the Sora, a fuel cell bus.
