Toyota Considers Offering Autonomous Technology to Ride-Hailing Firms in Asia

Toyota Motor Corporation is considering offering self-driving technologies to ride-hailing firms, according to the sources. It is the latest push by the company to become a company not only offering cars but also various mobility services.

The automaker is planning to supply a new driverless system to be developed with Uber Technologies Inc.  to companies such as ANI Technologies Pvt. Ltd’s Ola of India, and Grab Taxi Holdings Pte Ltd. of Singapore, the sources said.
