Toyota will Build an EV Plant in Tianjin, China, in 2020
Toyota might be down for America, Japanese automaker stated plans to build a new vehicle manufacturing plant with the cooperation of the china automobile manufacturing company FAW in the Tianjin province of China. These two companies are going to invest approximately 1.22 billion dollars in this project. The manufacturing plant will be able to produce 200,000 vehicles every year in which fuel cell, battery-only, and plug-in hybrid vehicles are included. The C-HR and IZOA will be the first electric-battery vehicles to launch in China under the Toyota Brand. Sales of the models will be started at the end of the year 2020.
