Polestar Teases Upcoming Polestar 3 Electric Crossover in New York

Electric vehicle brand Polestar, a stand-alone brand co-operated by Sweden's Volvo Cars with the backing of its parent company, Chinese automaker Geely Holding, unveiled a covert teaser for the new Polestar 3 SUV at a media event in New York on Thursday. The Polestar 3, due to launch in 2022, will be an elegant SUV with electric performance that will rival the Tesla Model Y and other similar electric crossovers. Full disclosure will come later. The Polestar 3 will also be the first Polestar to be made in the United States and will be manufactured at Volvo's car plant in Charleston, South Carolina. All Polestar 3 vehicles built in South Carolina will be sold in the United States.
