Suzuki Motor Corporation confirmed it is developing an electric Jimny, with plans to launch in India and Japan by early 2026. The compact off-roader will retain its iconic design but feature a new electric drivetrain and enhanced safety features. Suzuki sees strong potential in emerging markets, where compact rugged EVs remain a rare offering.
