Mazda is Bringing Back Rotary Engine, Expected In 2019

Excellent: Loaded instantly, within a couple of seconds. 😄
Good: Loaded quickly with minimal delay; very responsive. 🙂
Fair: Slight delay noticeable, but still usable. 😐
Poor: Took a long time to load; affected the experience. 🙁
Very Poor: Extremely slow or failed to load completely. 😡

Mazda is bringing back rotary engine that is expected to arrive in 2019.

Mazda global powertrain boss Mitsuo Hitomi said that rotary engine will become a range extender for the upcoming electric vehicle of Japanese automaker. He said while speaking to Automotive News.

This is not the first time that Mazda is using the rotary engine for range extender. Automaker revealed a battery-powered Mazda 2 concept back in 2013 that was powered by a 330cc rotary as a generator.
