2018 Mitsubishi's PHEV Outlander is an Underrated Surprise

Excellent: Loaded instantly, within a couple of seconds. 😄
Good: Loaded quickly with minimal delay; very responsive. 🙂
Fair: Slight delay noticeable, but still usable. 😐
Poor: Took a long time to load; affected the experience. 🙁
Very Poor: Extremely slow or failed to load completely. 😡

Japan’s Mitsubishi claims that Outlander PHEV is its best-selling plug-in in Europe. It is everything Mitsubishi learned from its i-MiEV plugin along with S-AWC.

The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is equipped with a 2.0-liter gasoline with two electric motors one on each axle. It stores power in a high-capacity 12-kWh lithium-ion battery consisting of 80 cells configured in series.
