Honda Confirms Closure of UK Car Plant
Honda has confirmed its western England car factory will close in 2021.
The Japanese automaker makes its popular Civic model at the factory, 70 miles west of London.
Reports of the closure first surfaced in February, raising concerns about the impact of Brexit-related uncertainty on the U.K. economy.
Honda denies closure is Brexit-driven and declares it a part of Honda’s global strategy due to changes in industry.
