Toyota Reveals Autonomous Vehicle Concept with on-board AI

Japanese automaker Toyota has revealed its latest autonomous concept car which can drive itself and has an on-board artificial intelligence system that can automatically adjust air-conditioned seats to keep the driver alert.

Toyota’s latest reveal features level four autonomous driving capabilities which mean it can drive itself in all situations but requires a steering wheel and pedals and so a human driver could take over if required.

Yui, an on-board artificial intelligence system, provides a “personalized mobility experience based on the driver’s emotional state and alertness. “ It does so through voice commands and control of vehicle functions such as the air conditioning and lighting.
