In a move to strengthen its position in the autonomous driving market, Qualcomm has acquired Autotalks, an Israeli-based company that specializes in vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication technology. Although the terms of the deal were not disclosed, Qualcomm has stated that Autotalks' technology will be integrated into its Snapdragon Digital Chassis product.

Snapdragon Digital Chassis is a platform designed to provide automakers with a comprehensive solution for developing and deploying advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving capabilities. By incorporating Autotalks' V2X communication technology, Qualcomm aims to improve the safety and efficiency of autonomous vehicles by enabling them to communicate with other vehicles and infrastructure.
