Honda announced it will discontinue domestic production and sales of the Accord sedan by the end of 2025, citing declining demand for midsize sedans in Japan. While the Accord remains popular overseas, especially in the U.S., Honda plans to shift local focus to hybrid SUVs and the upcoming AFEELA EV series.
