Toyota Aims at Selling Fast Charging, Long Range Cars In 2022
According to Chunichi Shimbun daily, Toyota is working on an electric powered car supported by new type of battery that impressively increases driving range and decreases charging time. It is aiming to begin sales in 2022.
Toyota’s new electric car to be built will use solid state batteries that will allow it to be recharged in just a few minutes.
Current electric vehicles are powered by lithium-ion batteries which take around 20-30 minutes to recharge.
