Electric Cars in Spotlight at Bangkok Auto Show

Electric cars are in the spotlight on this year’s Bangkok Auto Show. Severe pollution is driving the exigency for environment-friendly vehicles in the Thailand capital.  

More than 30 automakers from around the world are displaying their state of the art models and technologies. Starting March 27, the show will run until April 7.

The government officials are promoting the industry by endorsing electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids. Government is encouraging the automakers to establish plants and produce more in the country.

The automakers are using the auto show to encourage the sales of their products.
