Toyota Believes Electrified Vehicle Sales Could Reach 5.5 Million by 2025

Toyota was one of the first major automakers to sell electric cars to consumers. Now the automaker offers a total of 10 electrified cars, which is one of the most powerful electric collections available in America, so when the automaker comes out with a prediction of how many electrified cars it hopes to sell in a year determined, people tend to listen. It's safe to assume that Toyota, the leader in the electric car industry, knows a thing or two about how well it sells electric cars. More recently, Toyota issued a statement stating that global electrified vehicle sales could reach 5.5 million units by 2025.
