Economy Ministry of Taiwan’s said it would prioritize Car Chip Production Despite of Industry Shortage

Automakers around the world have been forced to cut vehicle production due to a persistent shortage of semiconductors, chips and other electronic components used in vehicle production, but efforts are being made to address them. The world's largest contract chip maker, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co Ltd (TSMC), said it would prioritize car chip production if it could further increase capacity, Taiwan's Ministry of Economy said on Monday.
